Dear Friends of the Vineyard Via de Cristo (VdC) Community,
A Fourth Day Workshop is being held on May 20th, 2017. This workshop will prepare you to serve on team and provide the "behind the scenes" activities and training. Coffee and light breakfast begins at 8:30am and the workshop is from 9:00am - 1:30pm. It will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church,
1415 West 7th Street, Frederick, MD 21702.
Everyone who has not previously attended a Fourth Day workshop is encouraged to attend. Completion of this workshop is recommended for people who serve on a VdC team. Please send an email to Jim Dulling if you plan on attending or have any questions: Jim_Dulling@comcast.net.
The bi-monthly Ultreya will be held later the same day starting with a covered dish pot luck dinner at 5:00pm, followed by the Ultreya meeting between 6:00 - 6:30pm. Come and fellowship with old friends, make some new ones, sing some songs, and support Vineyard Via de Cristo and the upcoming weekends.
God Loves You and So Do I,
The Vineyard is asking for your support in many ways for the upcoming weekend such as Prayer Palanca, Thing Palanca and Green Palanca. Prayer is the most important form of Palanca you can give but
we are also in great need of Green Palanca to pay for the women's weekend. As you know, there are many costs involved with putting on a weekend. From the fee for Camp Nawakwa and the FOOD to the
numerous boxes of Kleenex® tissue we use. The weekends can’t happen without the community’s (your) financial support. The pilgrims are told that their weekend has been paid for; that happens with
support from the community, sponsors AND team members, who are asked to contribute what they can toward the estimated $175 per person cost. Please support your church first but we ask you to
prayerfully consider a donation to the Vineyard, after your church tithe, at this time. You can send Green Palanca to the treasurer. However and how much you choose to give is up to you. We don’t
keep records (except for tax purposes) of how much you give and NO ONE has, or ever will be, denied the opportunity to attend or serve on a weekend based on who gave what. If you would like to mail a
tax-deductible gift to help defray the weekend expenses please send it to:
